Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Quit Nic Protocol collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, to the Make Quitting Enjoyable tracker page, and to the webinar, protocol and long-term framework we provide.
1. Who we are
Quit Nic Protocol is a coaching service run by Aditya Valiyakkal as a sole proprietor in India. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Quit Nic Protocol. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we decide why and how your data is used.

2. What we collect
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Details you give us | Your name and mobile (WhatsApp) number when you sign up or buy, and your email address where we ask for it. How many cigarettes you smoke a day, if you tell us in the free guide form. The amount you choose to pay. For older options, the webinar slot and plan (pay now or pay later) you pick. |
| Payment information | Whether you have paid, the amount, and the Razorpay order and payment reference. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's checkout and are never stored by us. |
| Your name and progress on the tracker page | Your first name (if you type it on the page) and your progress are saved only in your own browser, on your own device. We do not collect them and cannot see them. |
| Your camera | The Make Quitting Enjoyable page asks to use your front camera for a 10-second smile exercise. The picture is shown only on your own screen. We do not record, store or receive it. |
| Webinar recordings | We record our webinars. A recording may capture anything you say or type if you take part, and your name as shown on the call. |
| Client notes | Notes we keep about you as a client, such as your smoking or nicotine habits, your quit date, how the 9 days are going, and what you tell us in messages or calls. |
| Your declaration on day 10 | Whether you tell us you have quit, which decides if payment is due. |
| Messages | Emails and other messages you send us, and our replies. |
| Technical data | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how much of a video you watch, how you tap and scroll on our sales page (including anonymised session recordings), and cookie or similar identifiers, collected through analytics and advertising tools (see section 7). |
What you tell us about your nicotine use relates to your health. We treat it with extra care, and we use it only to coach you. We do not ask for medical records, and you do not need to share more than you are comfortable with.
3. Why we use it
- To give you access to the tracker page and the recorded webinar, including by sending your access link on WhatsApp.
- To register you for the webinar and send the joining link, reminders and follow-ups.
- To deliver the 9-day protocol and the long-term quit framework, and to check in on your progress.
- To take payment, confirm it, and keep the records the law requires us to keep.
- To send you updates and check-ins by email or message. You can opt out at any time.
- To improve the webinar and the programme, and to understand which pages and ads bring people to the site and how people use our pages.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including telling Meta when someone signs up or pays so our ads reach relevant people.
- To answer your questions, resolve disputes and meet our legal obligations.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit your details and choose a plan. We may also use your data where the law lets us, such as to keep tax and accounting records or to deal with a legal claim.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the programme, and only as much as they need:
| Provider | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Razorpay | Processes payments. |
| Make.com | Moves your signup and payment details between our tools. |
| Google (Workspace, Sheets, Meet, Analytics) | Stores our signup records and files, hosts the webinar, and provides website analytics. |
| AiSensy and WhatsApp | Send you WhatsApp messages, such as your access link. They receive your mobile number and the message. |
| Bunny.net | Hosts and streams our videos. It receives technical data such as your IP address and device details when you watch. |
| Microsoft (Clarity) | Records how people tap and scroll on our sales page, so we can improve it. Text you type into forms is hidden from the recordings. |
| Brevo | Sends our emails and messages. |
| Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | Measures and improves our ads. It receives events such as page views, signups and purchases, together with identifiers like your browser ID, ad-click ID and device details. It may also receive contact details so it can match the event to you. |
We may also disclose information if the law, a court or a government authority requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
5. Storage and transfers outside India
Several of these providers store data on servers outside India. By using the service you understand that your information may be processed in other countries. We choose providers that apply reasonable security practices.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you are a client and afterwards for as long as we need it for the purposes above, to keep records the law requires (for example tax and accounting records), and to deal with disputes. Webinar recordings and client notes are kept until we no longer need them. When you ask us to delete your data, we will delete it, except where the law requires us to keep it. When we no longer need information, we delete it or anonymise it.
7. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies:
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API: record visits, signups, purchases and how much of a video you watch, for ad measurement and ad targeting.
- Google Analytics: shows us how people use the site, using anonymised or aggregate data where possible.
- Microsoft Clarity: records anonymised sessions on our sales page (taps, scrolls and clicks) so we can improve it. It sets cookies. Text you type into forms is hidden.
- Razorpay checkout: sets cookies needed to complete and secure your payment.
- Your browser's session storage: remembers your slot and plan, or your payment confirmation, for the length of your visit so the thank-you page can show them.
- Your browser's local storage: keeps your tracker progress on your own phone. We cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install a browser add-on that blocks trackers. You can manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram account settings and in your Google account. The site will still work, but some features may not.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
- ask us to correct or complete your data;
- ask us to erase your data;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect what we did before you withdrew, and we may not be able to continue your programme);
- nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act for yourself;
- make a complaint, first to us and then to the Data Protection Board of India.
Email aditya@thequitnic.com from the address you signed up with. We will respond within a reasonable time, and aim to do so within 30 days. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email or write to us.
9. Children
This service is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you think a child has given us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including access controls on our accounts and trusted providers for payments and email. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
11. Grievance Officer
If you have a complaint about how we handle your data, contact:
Aditya Valiyakkal, Grievance Officer
Email: aditya@thequitnic.com
We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or on the site.
